Celebrating Obesity
There are so many things wrong with this video that it is difficult to know where to begin. It is visually and viscerally disturbing.
A combination of sheer horror, empathy, anger and sorrow. While watching it is difficult not to shake your head in disbelief.
But this is increasingly what we have become. Most adults are overweight, if not stuck on the path to obesity or as I describe: Diabesity.
As we discuss in the nutrition section of the site; Can you blame a drug addict, who is addicted to drugs that we have encouraged them to use since birth?
Is it the drug addict’s fault? Or the fault of those that addicted them to the said drug?
And in this case the drug is sugar. And sugar is a very, very powerful drug. Indeed the world was carved up according to countries being able to supply sugar to Europe.
Yes, they are complicit in their downfall. After all, we are our own wizard. We create our reality by the choices we make.
But it is hard to make good choices when you can’t think straight and your are addicted to refined carbohydrate, sugar and the various dubious chemicals in your Macca’s meal.
